Ed Davey’s speech on ‘energy saving societies’ (March 2014)

NewsEdward Davey, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate, gave a speech on ‘Green social change: building an Energy Saving Society’ to the London School of Economics’ Energy Society on 11 March 2014.

Mr Davey stated that ‘Energy efficiency will be central to the transition to a low carbon world. Governments will need to lead – with regulations and with incentives. But a critical challenge is changing the behaviour of investors, firms, individuals and communities.’
