DECC’s community energy report (part 2) (January 2014)

NumbersDECC published a second report on community energy on 27 January 2014.

The report forms the second part of a study of community energy in the UK, jointly commissioned by DECC and Consumer Futures. It was carried out by Databuild Research and Development, supported by the Energy Saving Trust. The research presents findings on the scale and geographic distribution of community energy in the UK.

Example finding: ‘At least 5,000 community groups have considered, commenced and/or completed energy projects in the UK since 2008.’
